Layla Obregon, the founder of Falls Lavender Fest, is the driving force behind Menomonee Falls' enchanting lavender celebration. With a deep passion for all things lavender and a desire to bring a lavender festival to her hometown, Layla embarked on this journey in 2021 and has since created a magical event that captivates attendees year after year.

As the owner of Poppy and Thyme, Layla specializes in handcrafted and natural bath and body products. From natural soaps and handmade candles to bath bombs, shower steamers, and lip smoothies, her creations epitomize luxurious self-care. Every bar of soap and every candle she makes is handmade with love. 

At Falls Lavender Fest, Layla invites attendees to immerse themselves in the allure of lavender, while her store, Poppy and Thyme, offers a curated selection of handmade delights, essential oils, self care products, and thoughtful gifts. Michelle Frie is wears multiple hats in her professional and personal life. As the co-chairperson of Falls Lavender Fest, she plays a crucial role in organizing and overseeing the annual festival that celebrates the beauty and versatility of lavender. Michelle's passion for community engagement and her keen eye for detail make her an invaluable asset to the annual event.

In addition to her involvement with Falls Lavender Fest, Michelle also serves as the Manager of the Menomonee Falls Downtown Business Improvement District where she works tirelessly to enhance the downtown area, fostering economic growth and creating an inviting environment for residents and visitors alike. Her strategic thinking and collaborative approach have resulted in numerous successful events such as the annual Christmas in the Falls program and new Picnic at the Plaza weekly event. 

Michelle's dedication to her faith is evident through her role as one of the lead pastors at Metro Harvest Church. Her strong leadership skills and compassionate nature inspire and guide the congregation, helping them navigate their spiritual journeys. As the team lead for MHC Kids Team, Michelle invests her time and energy in creating engaging and meaningful experiences for the younger members of the church, fostering their spiritual growth and providing a nurturing environment for them to flourish.
